Large Watercolor Hosta Leaf Platter

Harvested large hosta from my garden are pressed into soft clay and draped to get this shape and feet are applied. As it dries there is some sanding and smoothing required. After the first firing a series of glazes are watered down and applied to give a water color effect. Final a top coat of clear glaze is applied.
